You don't know yourself !!!!


 


Do you know who you are? Most of you don't.

Well Surprised?? Why I said so...
I am not gonna ask you to visit your doctor because you forgot yourself, its nothing like daily soap "ki main Kaun hu, Kaha hu."(well I guess it's not a PJ)

The world is growing very fast. This is the era of technology, which has changed our world. There was a time when it takes days to send our messages in letters, now sending messages is just a click away. There was a time when we can't even talk frequently with our long-distance relatives, friends, or loved ones but now we are just a call away. 

Tech has made our life so easy and also social media platforms, that give us a chance to stay connected with the world.

But something is missing behind !!! But what??

On this road to progress and getting connected to the world we are missing the most important person that is ourselves. 

We come across millions of people in our entire life but the one who stays with us in each and every situation is we, ourselves.

Though being so important in our own life, we ignore our presence only. Today as a working professional or a student or whatsoever we are, we get so involved in our work, studies, party, enjoying with friends, entertainment via movies, Netflix, social media platforms, and all others, that we forget that we need to give time to ourself also. We get so drained out after our hectic daily routine that we don't get time for ourselves. 

Today we stay connected with the world, with our friends, our relatives, but we lose connection with ourselves only. Today we are so involved in making the world know who we are, that we rarely get time to understand who we really are, we don't even know ourselves completely. Most of us don't know, what all are best in us and what is worst in us. We just use to have a preconception based on any past incident, we don't even give time to think that what perception we are creating of ourself, is it really true, am I really the same way as I'm thinking myself to be. 

Well, I'm saying so as I too was involved a lot in these things that I didn't even give myself time to analyze what's good or bad in me. Once I was trapped in a situation and I handled it all alone and very gracefully, then I got to realize that I had these skills in me also but I didn't even know it. (Well by the last line, did you just start thinking about Amazon Pay add)

After that I started giving time to myself, I usually spend some time with myself, only to know myself better.

Well, I guess it might have happened with you also, that after handling any situation you got to know that you have a particular skill in you. 

I tell you, why people use to do suicides or why many of us suffer from depression, it's not because we get fail. It's because we don't even give a moment to ourselves. After getting failures we just start thinking negatively, we think, it's of no worth for us to be alive or we are of no use, we can't do anything in life, etc, etc...

If we would just stop for a moment and forget about all the world and just think 
Who we are, 
Why we are, 
What's good in us, 
What's bad in us and how can we improve it,
What good we have done to others,
and all about ourselves only without even thinking of the world, then we can change our negative perception to a positive one. 


Well, I'm not saying it would be that easy, because if we are in our worst phase then we won't be easily able to recall all good incidents or positive thoughts at once, nothing would change drastically but yes with constant practice and giving time to ourself, we will definitely come to know, how good we are and not even good how best we are.
That would only happen when we start giving time to ourselves.

So, how can you come to know about yourself, how can you understand yourself?

I would say, to begin with, start giving 15-30 mins daily to yourself. Stay alone and apart from the world for that 15-30 min. 
Start reading books, do meditation, do what your hobby is, start spending time with yourself. At the end of the day, think about what best you have done, what new you have learned in the entire day. Think about what skills you used on that day. Think about how you are different from others.
Think about all positive things before going to sleep.

Also, keep a moment to analyze what mistakes on that day and how can you improve them. Don't overthink, just try to know your positive and the negative sides, and daily keep adding positive ones to your list and keep removing the negative ones. 


 Finally, you will know who you are. And you will daily meet a new you. All the Best👍.

So friends, start giving time to yourself because You are unique and no one can be like you, You are the BEST, and you will always be BEST, just you need to find that BEST version in yourself.
